THE HOTEL
The Avizaqcua Team Center project started in 2004 with the plan to build a training centre in Aviz. At this stage, we have all the licensing approved for the construction of the athletes' accommodation facility.
A four-star hotel with the maximum capacity to comfortably host up to 60 guests is being built. This medium size capability ensures that no more than one large size team is using the centre at any time, making it ideal for medium/small size teams and national squads.
The hotel is located in 47 hectares of private land with exclusive access to the water and all provisions necessary to host High Performance teams have been considered in the architecture of the building.
The idea of the Hotel started from the experiences of some partners and from the teams that already have been in Portugal for Training Camps. We wanted a place where everyone can stay for o long period of time and feels like home.
The rooms were created in a way that each room has his own view and to feel different each time everyone goes to the Hotel.
